Originally conceived in 2020 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the iconic fashion label, Duckie Brown: The Book/2024 hits shelves this Thursday. In its pages, co-founders (and NYC fashion legends) Steven Cox and Daniel Silver share an extraordinary collection of over 800 images, many seen in the book for the first time. There are initial sketches from Steven’s sketchbook, backstage moments, and scenes from their West Village studio, where they continue to design and showcase their work. Woven throughout are reflections from close friends including Tim Blanks, Nicole Phelps, Robin Givhan, Matthew Schneier, Sonnet Stanfill, José Criales Unzueta, Laia Garcia-Furtado, Jocelyn Saidenberg, Robert Glück, Kim Rosenfield, Jay Bell, and Jo Phillips. They’re worth the wait. –Sarah Jackson
